Temple Square

Dean and Tara watched the kids for us while Ryan and I stayed at the Marriott Friday night. We picked up the kids and visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Bowen and then went back up to see the lights and have dinner. The kids did great. It was only about 20 degrees, but they didn't seem to mind. They are so sweet.

Christmas Morning

Reagan loves his new Thomas the Train set and the girls (and their mom) are having a lot of fun with dolls and doll furniture. We even found cute little trunks for their clothes--blue for Ally and pink for Sadie. Ryan spoiled me this year and got me everything I thought I needed. It was a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas projects

Just a few of the doll outfits I have been working on for Christmas. Ally wanted doll clothes that matched the dresses in her closet. That idea got me started and 32 items of clothing later, I am finished!

Happy Birthday, Sadie!

We celebrated Sadie's very pink birthday. I don't think there were any gifts that weren't pink!

Trick or Treat!

Ally wanted to be a fairy, Sadie a cheerleader, and Reagan a monkey (very fitting!)

Christmas is coming!

Ally's baptism Sept. 27, 2008

This was such a wonderful day. Ally seemed so old to me. She listened so intently and took everything seriously. She loved her breakfast party afterward. How we love all of our parents and grandparents!

Sand crabs at Laguna Beach

The rocks and tide pools were the highlight of our day at the beach. As we were walking back along the shore and holding hands, Reagan said, "Mom, I just love this day at the beach!" He actually decided to get in the water after that.

Our day at Disneyland- Sept. 12, 2008

The kids and I rode the bus to Disneyland without Ryan. (He was working at his company's convention that day.) The weather was perfect, overcast with a nice breeze but no rain. It never got hot.

Reagan couldn't wait to hug Pooh Bear.

Ally didn't want to be in this picture with Winnie the Pooh. I think he must be too juvenile for her now.

Taking a break on the monorail. I was really starting to wish for a nap at this point.

We were leaving at 9 pm and were lucky enough to find Mickey and Minnie taking pictures right by the gate to the park. My cousin, Kym Henderson, and her family came around 5:00, and braved the traffic from Irvine to bring us dinner. They were definitely a highlight of my day. They took Ally and Sadie on the Matterhorn (They loved it!) and watched the parade with us. We waited in line for the Finding Nemo submarine ride and Reagan fell asleep. He slept through it last year so I didn't want him to miss it again. Right as we sat down in our seats on the sub, he woke up. He loved it! The kids tell me their favorite ride of all was the Pirates of the Carribbean.

The real winner of the Piston Cup.

Reagan has already decided on his future career - thanks to a little artistic help from his dad.
