Cowabunga Bay

Lucy and Blake --remember Lucy is 2 weeks OLDER than Blake. They are so CUTE!!!

We had a great time at Cowabunga Bay with Dean and Tara's family. I've never seen so much water spraying everywhere. Afterwards, we had pizza and took all of the kids to Frogurt. They loved picking their own toppings. What a fun place. It was lots of fun.

First Day of School!

Our Garden

Reagan loves to help me pick the food from the garden and the berries. Lastnight he kept pulling out huge cucumbers. (We didn't need more of those.) Ryan's 7 foot wall of string beans is especially impressive. We'll have to post more pics of the huge banana squashes when it's time to harvest them. Squash bugs killed our pumpkin plant, but not before we got 6 pumpkins out of it. Since the plant died, they turned orange early so I have been making pumpkin pie. It's kind of strange to be baking pumpkin pie in August, but it still tastes good. We're loving the tomatoes, onions, string beans, blackberries, and raspberries. Our peaches are starting to turn orange. I love this time of year.

Lucy's first real swim

We took the kids swimming at the Lindon pool. The slide and lazy river were fun although you can't tell that by Reagan's face. He seems to have a really bad time for the first hour of a swim trip and then things start looking better. Lucy loved the lazy river. She snuggled right up to me as we floated around and around, and then she fell asleep.

Lagoon Day

We went to Lagoon on Friday and had a great time. Ally and Sadie were tall enough to go on any ride they wanted without me or Ryan. Ryan took the kids on Rattlesnake Rapids. He and Reagan got pounded by the waterfall. I wish the camera had delayed two more seconds. It would have been a great shot. Lucy was an angel even though she didn't get much sleep all day. I took Ally, Sadie, and Reagan on the Tidal Wave and we all loved it! We are getting pretty good at amusement parks!

The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point

We had pancakes for dinner at IHOP and then took the kids to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. They were spectacular.
