Reagan's first day of Kindergarten

Reagan started school yesterday. The bus picks him up right in front of our house. Boy, am I spoiled! I hadn't even thought of crying, but when the bus pulled away, out it came! I think Reagan's going to love going to school.

Last Swim

Our last swim of the summer. Lucy has no fear of the water. I have rescued her a couple of times. This summer Reagan conquered his fear and remembered that he does know how to swim. Now they will forget everything this winter!

Ally & Sadie's first day of school

First day of 3rd grade and 5th grade for the girls. They started a new school this year since we moved at the beginning of the summer. Now they ride the bus. It is wonderful having the bus stop on the corner right next to the house! Reagan gets to start Kindergarten next week.

Pigtails

Lucy before she ripped out her hairdo. She won't leave anything in her hair.

One token Lagoon Day picture

We are not the best picture takers. Here is our one picture to document Lagoon Day this week. This picture is on the ferris wheel at 9:30 just before we came home. We went to the water park and Rattlesnake rapids and got soaked just before this picture (thus the very nice hairdos.)

Sandstorm at Yuba

We saw the black clouds rolling in at about 11:00 and started taking down the tent. We had just gotten the sand filled sleeping bags put away when it hit. The kids were crying so we put them in the car. Ryan and I took down the tent in the Arabian sandstorm with our eyes closed. We couldn't see anything. We just wadded up the tent and shoved everything into the car. You can barely see the kids in all the stuff. These pictures don't show how bad it really was. We had sand coming out of our eyes, ears, nose, eyelashes, eyebrows, even places we didn't know we had. It took a few hours to vaccuum and wash the car and clean everything when we got home. What a nightmare, but quite an adventure!

To top it all off, we stopped in south Provo on our way home to pick up a twin size box springs for the bed downstairs. We were able to slide it above the kids heads inside the car. Too bad I didn't get a picture of that!

Yuba Lake

We went to Yuba Lake with some people from our ward over the weekend. The wind was blowing the whole time we were there. It's very sandy there so there was sand all over in the tent and the sleeping bags. The kids had fun making sand castles since it wasn't warm enough to want to get in the water.
